Would you like to be close to the main attractions of the Périgord Noir while enjoying peace and quiet in the countryside? Then our cottage is perfect for you. You’ll have a 38 m² ground-floor cottage in a renovated old barn where we live. You’ll be independent, with your own kitchen, a spacious living and dining area, and a sleeping area with a queen bed (160 cm) and a single bed (90 cm), plus a bathroom with a walk-in shower. In the (unfenced) garden, relax with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The house is set apart from the village (about 200 m), right by the river at the end of the garden. Located near the top sites of the Dordogne valley, it’s the ideal place to recharge in peace and coolness between outings (the thick stone walls keep it cool in summer—no air conditioning needed). Sarlat, the jewel of the region, is just 20 km away. On hot days, enjoy swimming in the Dordogne River (10 km). You can also explore the major sights by canoe—a wonderful trip awaits! The Vézère valley is just a few more kilometers away. Near the Lot region, you’ll discover different landscapes. Caves, castles, gardens, local markets, and evening meals with regional products will help you appreciate our beautiful area. As locals, we’re happy to help you organize excursions if you wish. Parking on site, electric car charging available for an extra fee. Bike storage available; we’re on the Céou valley cycle route. Towels and bed linen provided.
